J.P. Singh
A recipient of an honorary degree from Bharatendu Natya Akademi, J. P. Singh has also received many prestigious awards like Akademi Samman for playwriting in 2007 from U. P. Sangeet Natak Akademi, Lucknow and Best Writer Award at 6th Nat Samrat Theatre Awards in 2009. He has also received the Bhartendu Harishchandra National Award 2017 for Writing from United Progressive Theatre Association (UPTAA), Meerut.
He is active in the field of theatre for the past 40 years. Along with Acting, Direction and Light Design, he has written many acclaimed plays. Under the nom de plume of Jayvardhan, he has written plays that include : Urgent Meeting, Kissa Maujpur Ka, Hi ! Handsome, Mayaram Ki Maya, Jhansi Ki Rani, Khairatilal Ka Kursitantra and Babu Harishchandra. He has done an effective stage adaptation of Munshi Premchand’s timeless classic novel ‘Godaan. He has published 15 plays, in addition to 6 children’s plays.
Malavika Joshi
Malavika Joshi is a creative personality with a keen interest in dance, theatre, and music. At the same time, she fulfilled her interest in teaching and has 33 years of experience in the field.
Recalling her childhood, Malavika says that she was born in Mhow, a place near Indore, MP. Her grandparents raised her, and she went to St. Mary’s School. Her grandma preferred cultural pursuits, whilst her grandfather was a botanist. Malavika took up teaching and art after being inspired by them. She earned a B. Ed. after completing her M.Sc. in Botany, which she believes was predestined for her.
On the other hand, Malavika’s mother was a dancer who wanted her daughters to learn dance. At the same time, she happened to accidentally enter the theatre, which later became her favourite hobby.
Pursuing her creative endeavours, Malavika completed her Bachelor of Music and is a B-grade artist in All India Radio’s Drama department. She also did a certificate course in Bharatanatyam dance. Based in Bhopal, Malavika has worked for UNICEF and the Department of Education, Madhya Pradesh.
There came a time when Malavika had to decide to either go into teaching or the arts or pursuing both at the same time. She sought advice from her school principal, after which she was made the cultural coordinator. Thereafter, Malavika attempted to introduce innovative ideas of teaching by merging art with other subjects that were taught at the school. Alongside, her interest in storytelling came to light, through which she would explain various concepts to her students.
Speaking about her achievements, Malavika shares that she has won several titles, such as the “Best Teacher” award, the “Best Communicator,” and the “Best Story” award.
Shivani Pandey
Shivani Pandey, is an award-winning documentary film-maker, photographer, blogger and writer based in New Delhi, India.
She has to her credit published works in national and international magazines and wires in English, Hindi, French, and Spanish.
In a career spanning more than a decade, Shivani has worked with various international development agencies as well as eminent corporations. Shivani has hosted her photography exhibitions in various Indian and international art galleries, including the prestigious Lalit Kala Akademi. Films directed by her
have screened in India and internationally.
She has served as jury for film festivals and takes workshops and classes in media and journalism universities and institutions such as AAFT, ITMI, DU, IIMC.
Ambika Bhardwaj
Ambika Bhardwaj, a renowned social media influencer who has debuted as an author with her book ‘In Conversation with Light and Darkness’. She is one of the first Indian women to have traveled from the southernmost to the northernmost tip of India, all by herself.

Amit Tiwari is an actor trainer, voice coach, director, writer and artreprenuer. He has been awarded with Youth Icon Award, Yuva Natya Sammaan & Yuva Nirdeshak Sammaan for his contribution in theatre. He has designed, scripted & directed 120+ theatre productions which are staged at several prestigious national and international theatre festivals across the country. He has scripted a documentary drama for Kerala Story film maker Sudipto Sen which has been awarded recently by the Indian government. he has conducted 150+ workshops across the country. He has curated several festivals and social awareness campaigns to promote theatre among collegiate students. He is working as theatre mentor with several schools and colleges across Delhi-NCR.
